With the grill plates from Creasteel, you can grill on your fire bowl like a pro! You can choose between grill plates with slotted openings or classic plancha plates.
The grill plate with slotted openings is particularly suitable for juicy meat products, as the liquids can drip off during grilling and evaporate in the firebox. This prevents the meat from swimming in its own fat and thus distorting its taste. Through the slit openings, the food also has direct contact with the fire and receives the popular gold brandy. The full-surface plancha plate can be used to prepare all kinds of grilled meats such as vegetables, meat, fish, sausages, fried eggs and much more. Due to the material thickness of 10 millimetres, the heat of the fire is optimally stored and transmitted to the food to be grilled via different temperature zones. Thanks to our modular design of the fire bowl, you have the option of using different grill plates on your fire bowl and removing or replacing them as needed.

Material: Stainless steel 10mm

In contrast to grill plates made of normal steel, stainless steel plates are easier to clean as they do not need to be baked to form a patina. The smooth, protective and stable chrome oxide layer ensures that stainless steel is corrosion-resistant. This means that the base material is not affected by contact with environmental influences and food, and rust formation is also prevented.

Please note: Discoloration of the stainless steel material is completely normal when exposed to heat. Temper discoloration is irreversible and cannot be prevented. Traces of burnt-in residue may remain visible even after cleaning.

We recommend cleaning the grill plates regularly after grilling.

Variant 1: Cold grill plates

  1. Scrape away the food residue with a spatula.
  2. Spray the grill plates generously with a suitable cleaning agent.
  3. Clean the surface thoroughly with a steel sponge or similar tool.

Variant 2: Hot grill plates

  1. Use the residual heat to clean the plates.
  2. Use a spatula to remove all coarse grill residues.
  3. Carefully pour water onto the hot plates, paying attention to the steam development.
The thermal shock will remove any remaining residue.
  4. Scrape the surface again with the spatula.
  5. Rub the plate with a stainless steel spiral and cleaning agent.
  6. Rinse the grill plate thoroughly with water and a soft sponge.

The basic version consists of the tray with removable intermediate base and the middle ring, which is used to hold the middle grill plates and various accessories.

A fire bowl lid is recommended to protect your fire bowl from accumulating dirt and if there is still ash in the firebox, you can simply cover it to prevent it from blowing away or getting wet. Our barbecue skewers are also a must-have, as they are ideal for barbecue parties and can be used in a variety of ways.

Our fire bowl accessories can be reordered at any time if you want to extend your fire bowl at a later date.

Yes, that is not a problem. Delivery is also free of charge.

Yes, the grill plates will become discolored during grilling. As our plates are made of stainless steel throughout, you can easily clean them after use with a spatula or steel wool. However, traces of burnt-on residue may remain visible despite cleaning.

We recommend the plate with slit openings for meat and fish products. On the full-surface plate, these float on the oil when frying, which leads to a change in taste. The fat drips off through the openings and burns in the firebox.

As this is only the finest ash dust, the ash does not necessarily have to be removed. However, if necessary, the hemisphere can be rinsed out through the air slots using a water hose.

Yes, the panels are not continuously welded to the shell. This means that there are gaps and openings everywhere on the surface. The fire therefore has sufficient oxygen.

The time it takes to light a fire bowl depends on various factors, such as the type of fuel, the size of the fire bowl, etc. In general, it takes around 30 to 45 minutes to light a fire bowl with charcoal or wood and produce a suitable ember for grilling or warming.

Various types of wood are suitable for lighting a fire bowl, offering good flammability and a pleasant flame. Here are some popular options:

  1. Hardwood: Hardwoods such as oak, beech or maple are ideal for lighting fires due to their density and high calorific value. They produce long-lasting and even embers.
  2. Fruit wood: Fruit wood such as apple, cherry or pear gives the fire a pleasant aroma and produces a beautiful flame. It burns relatively quickly and is well suited for kindling or short fires.
  3. Softwood: Softwoods such as spruce or pine burn quickly and produce a high flame, but are less suitable for long-lasting embers. However, they can be used as kindling wood to get the fire going quickly.

It is important to use dry and well-stored wood to ensure efficient combustion and minimal smoke development. Avoid treated or varnished wood and wood with a high resin content, as this can lead to undesirable smoke development.
