Note: The product is supplied with an unrusted steel surface on which welding and grinding marks and scratches may be visible. These features are not quality defects and will no longer be visible once the rust layer has fully developed. The formation of patina occurs over time due to outdoor exposure to the elements. This process can take several weeks to months.

From a length of 120 centimeters, the plant pot is reinforced on the inside with an additional strut to ensure stability.

Frequently asked questions

The term Corten steel is widely used, but few people know that it can be harmful to the health of humans, animals and plants because Corten steel contains heavy metals. For this reason, we use normal steel made of natural iron for our products, which also contains valuable minerals for plants. Over time, our items develop a unique layer of stainless steel that gives each piece individuality.

The surface discolors at first. After some time, the rust eats into the surface and the discoloration is reduced. It should be noted that rust stains can occur on stone slabs and the like. To prevent this, we recommend always using a carpet pad and protecting the surface.

This is just the rolling skin peeling off, which is quite normal with natural rust. You can peel off the affected area and then spray a mixture of water and vinegar (3/4, 1/4) onto the area. The rusting process will continue immediately.

The difference is that our plant pots have a base with drainage holes, while the raised beds are completely open at the bottom.

Steel raised beds offer a robust and durable option for your garden. They are resistant to the elements and provide a stable structure for your plants.

Yes, our steel raised beds are safe for growing food as they are made from non-toxic steel. However, it is advisable to place a layer of suitable foil or protective material inside the raised bed before planting to prevent direct contact between the soil and the plant roots.
