The term Corten steel is widely used, but few people know that it can be harmful to the health of humans, animals and plants because Corten steel contains heavy metals. For this reason, we use normal steel made of natural iron for our products, which also contains valuable minerals for plants. The surface discolors at first. After some time, the rust eats into the surface and the discoloration is reduced. It should be noted that rust stains can occur on stone slabs and the like. To prevent this, we recommend always using a carpet pad and protecting the surface.
This is just the rolling skin peeling off, which is quite normal with natural rust. You can peel off the affected area and then spray a mixture of water and vinegar (3/4, 1/4) onto the area. The rusting process will continue immediately.
